As a fan of role playing games and even a long time fan of TSR products, Luckbane is definitely the type of novel that I want to read. The premise of the story is exciting and refreshing to me. Luckbane is a well executed blend of the two very distinct genres of science fiction and fantasy. This is by no means an easy task, but Tony Breeden manages to pull it off seamlessly. The story starts off an apparent world of fantasy, where Jarrod Luckbane and friends are thrust into a dire, no win situation.
